At Plate, we’ve spent more than a decade redefining how organizations manage websites and content. Our mission is clear: give content teams real autonomy and eliminate website and content chaos with intelligent, scalable CMS solutions. Meet our team

Autonomous organizations

We are driven by our mission: to give companies and organizations autonomy over websites and content with a user-friendly Content Management Platform. We started our adventure in 2014 and have been pioneering for 10 years within an amazingly challenging Content Management market. We've seen one CMS come and go after another and now have a rich wealth of knowledge and innovative software that we deploy to the more than 2,000 customers and partners who use Plate.

Plate is used by hundreds of organizations. Among our customers are well-known names such as NUOVO Scholengroep, Leergeld Nederland, Lelie zorggroep, Top of Minds, 9altitudes and Bunzl. In addition, we work with software partners such as Topicus who uses Plate as a White Label CMS for its 6,000 customers within primary education.

Smart

At Plate, reuse is not just about copying content. It is about designing a smart content architecture that scales. With Plate Multi Site and Plate Delta CMS, we enable organizations to operate entire ecosystems of websites from a single, structured foundation.

Plate Multisite provides the governance layer to run networks of websites with shared building blocks, centralized maintenance, and controlled distribution of content. Our second CMS product is called Plate Delta and adds a highly innovative structured content engine that models information as reusable components, independent from pages or channels. This creates a true Single Source of Truth with less maintenance, lower costs, and a future-proof content layer built for AI and modern search. By combining smart reuse with structured content, Plate unlocks capabilities that traditional CMS platforms cannot match.

Responsibility

We find it important that our customers and partners work hassle free. That is why we take responsibility for hosting, roll out updates and upgrades centrally and go the extra mile when it comes to the security of the websites on the platform. We are easy to reach and have short response times because we don't like waiting in line for long periods of time either.

Innovation

As CMS pioneers, we are constantly pushing boundaries together. We don't sit still and challenge each other to innovate. For example, in recent years we have developed the best Multi Site CMS that can also be used as a Whitelabel CMS and our highly innovative CMS product Delta. This is a structured content CMS built for content-heavy organizations where governance matters, enabling teams to manage information centrally as reusable, controlled building blocks instead of scattered pages. It reduces content chaos and creates a strong foundation for consistency, compliance, SEO, and AI across all channels.
